High Voltage Switching
High Voltage Contracting provides experienced, licenced and highly skilled switching operators to the electrical industry Australia wide. We switch on an array of voltages and equipment ensuring protocol is followed and safety procedures strictly adhered to. Our operators are adept in the issuing of a variety of high voltage access permits and can also act as high voltage operating authorities and recipients in charge of permits for work groups.
High Voltage Cable Terminations/Jointing
Cable jointing is a relatively unregulated industry in Australia with uncertified workers throughout. This can cause premature faults in high voltage cabling, as a result of poor workmanship and the incorrect installation of manufacturers termination kits. High voltage terminating is a specialist service and at HVC, we treat it as such. Our jointers are all electricians and will strive to be certified in the kits being installed, ensuring the cable terminations are of the highest standards.
Labour and Site Supervision
High Voltage Contracting also provides highly skilled electricians and site supervision with experience in substation, industrial, mining and renewable energy construction.
High Voltage Safety Observing
High voltage safety observing is another specialty service provided by High Voltage Contracting. Safety observers are required to ensure safe approach distances are adhered to when people and mobile plant are working near live electrical equipment.
